An Attendee Watches Rhody Slay Saint Louis
This game brought to you by ESPNU at the end of this past December looked over 3 minutes into the game when Kuran Iverson dunked right on Reggie Agbeko and screamed in his face right before the first media timeout. Agbeko took the longest walk of shame a person could ever witness. This game displayed what the Rhode Island Rams were hyped up to be for this 2016-2017 season. Nearly every single player who stepped foot on the floor was on top of their game, including Mike Layssard who hit an elbow jumper from Candyland; though he will evidently get a limited amount of minutes, even in conference play. URI dominated the Friday night fight from the opening tip to the very end and took a big 90-56 W to start out 1-0 in conference play. The only poor aspect of the aspect was Rhody allowing Aaron Hines to score 14 points after displaying the inability to dribble the ball straight all night. In fact, the ESPN commentators were so bored that early in the 2nd half, they began talking about St. Louis as a city, bench celebrations in college basketball, and other random topics. Overall, there was not much of a better way to start out the conference schedule for the Rhode Island Rams.
After all, did you really expect the University of Rhode Island to lose to a team that has a hideous mascot looking ready to hit the quan like this?
