An Early Look at the Atlantic 10 Through an Attendee's View
At this juncture, the Atlantic 10 regular season title still looks like the Dayton Flyers title (4-1 in conference) to lose. With that said, Rhode Island (3-2) are still more than capable contenders, along with a surprising Richmond Spiders team (5-0), and an offensive juggernaut in the La Salle Explorers (4-1). Meanwhile, following an embarrassing loss at Fordham (2-4 in conference and a RPI in the mid 200's), A10 powerhouse, VCU (4-2) appears to have fallen off the wagon (or motorcycle). Besides these aforementioned teams, all other teams in the Atlantic 10 are currently irrelevant and going forward. For instance, Davidson would need Steph Curry back on their team to win home games again it appears (they lost at home to Fordham... Fordham... FORDHAM).
