The Attendee's Perspective of 2014's Rhody Madness

New to the University of Rhode Island, I had 0 expectations for this so-called "Rhody Madness". Fortunately, the basketball team received the entire crowd's applause after their impressive dunk contest. If the team was going to play as well as they dunked, it was going to be a good year of basketball to spectate. Too bad Michaela Johnson from the Rhode Show had no idea how to pronounce anyone's name, I would have preferred the team introductions be done by Dick Vitale, but maybe that's just me. URI did put money into the Madness though, they supposedly spent triple figures so that Ace Hood would show up. After the very long and extended version of "Bugatti", I think everyone mentally left the Ryan Center. Although, this was an eye-opening experience regardless of this disappointing musical matter, URI basketball had promise for the first time in years.

About a URI Attendee

Hi, I attend URI basketball games religiously. I am also a pessimist. These 2 facts do not always mix cohesively. Read my articles to see why.
