Nebraska Gets Revenge Much to Many Attendees' Dismay

URI's historic upset over a ranked opponent for the first team in countless years at the Ryan Center in the previous season was very unexpected but a welcome surprise.

URI's loss at Nebraska this season was unexpected and not a welcome surprise. They had a great 1st half as always, which included a terrific SC top 10-worthy dunk by Kuran Iverson and a crazy runner by Jarvis Garrett to end the half.

Cool. What happened in the 2nd half you ask? A lot of Rhody turnovers and 0 buckets. Therefore, URI lost to a Nebraska team that looked like they wanted to do nothing more then take the loss and go eat some corn.

This is the face Shavon Shields made when he realized Nebraska was going to pull off this upset. Does this look like the face of a winner to you? I did not think so.

About a URI Attendee

Hi, I attend URI basketball games religiously. I am also a pessimist. These 2 facts do not always mix cohesively. Read my articles to see why.
