The URI WATCH LIST- Boo Boo Bubble Teams

Given Jerry Palm's bracketology that has URI as the second-to-last team in the last four into the NCAA tournament, I decided to compile an entire list of teams that the Rhode Island faithful NEED to be rooting against during the rest of the season and throughout all of the conference tournaments around the nation. I will continuously update URI's bubble team watch list as the journey to Selection Sunday continues. Here we go (teams within each section are listed in no particular order):

Teams that could make a run in their conference tournament and compete for the automatic NCAA bid:

NC State, Houston, Georgetown, Utah, St. John's, Richmond, Memphis, Tennessee, Auburn, Clemson, Pittsburgh, Indiana, Alabama, Ole Miss, BYU, Texas Tech, TCU, Ohio State, Illinois

Teams that are right in the thick of things currently and actively competing for an at-large bid (should be considered Rhode Island's main competition):

Arkansas, Marquette, Kansas State, Seton Hall, Georgia Tech, Providence, Syracuse, Vanderbilt, Wake Forest, Georgia, Iowa, California

Teams that are likely in the NCAA field but could lose their spot if they go on a losing streak:

VCU, Michigan, USC, Xavier, Michigan State
