Initial Reactions to Daron Russell's Senior Season Mixtape
I went through and watched the senior season mixtape of incoming Rhode Island MBB recruit, Daron Russell. The senior year mixtape will be embedded into this article and it will also be uploaded under the "Everything in Between" tab. Listed below are my reactions to certain parts of his highlights, as well as the exact time stamps for where they occurred.
0:04 - That's a nice Rhode Island t-shirt.
0:07 - Is he going to teach Dan Hurley that handshake?
0:14 - Fatts can fly? Is he going to be in the dunk contest in the 2017 Rhody Madness?
0:18 - Where are #12's ankles at? Also, I like to see this point guard doing damage at Hagan Arena early on.
0:27 - If no one believes me when I keep talking about this kid's "Philly toughness", there is nothing more I can do for some of you.
0:31 - Good job avoiding the shot blocker. There are not many shot blockers in the Atlantic 10 conference to begin with.
0:37 - The shimmy shake or just a step back jumper?
0:41 - Is he going to be allowed to throw oops as a Ram? We need to start throwing more alley oops, anyways.
0:46 - As DJ Khaled would say, "ANOTHER ONE!"
0:51 - #4 didn't know where the ball went. My reaction:
0:54 - Young Steph? Chef Curry?
1:07 - No AND-ONE?
1:17 - #0 got put on skates and then had a three-pointer splashed in his eye. Jeez.
1:21- Fatts just scored on four players...
1:26, 1:28, 1:31, 1:35, 1:37 - Philly toughness
1:41- That behind-the-back pass though...
1:42, 1:45, 1:47, 1:48, 1:50 - That's one way to split two defenders
2:06 - AND-ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
2:15 - What did #15 from Vincent think he was doing?
