An Attendee's Confidence Ratings in Rhody MBB's Players

Headed into the 2018 NCAA tournament that URI will inevitably be in, these are my confidence levels in each of the 2017-2018 Rhody MBB players.

Jared Terrell: #32 is the Atlantic 10 POY, in my eyes.

Confidence rating: 10/10

E.C. Matthews: Matthews has gone 14-0 since his return from a hand injury.

Confidence rating: 9/10

Stanford Robinson: Stan the Man does everything for this team and makes many unselfish plays over the course of a game.

Confidence rating: 9/10

Andre Berry: Berry will have trouble trying to defend elite frontcourt players in the NCAA tournament.

Confidence rating: 7.5/10

Jeff Dowtin: Dowtin plays basketball at his own pace, he just needs to make sure that he does not take erratic shots like he did at Nevada.

Confidence rating: 8.5/10

Jarvis Garrett: Garrett has been a solid sixth man off the bench but he can still be overwhelmed on the defensive end by elite guards.

Confidence rating: 7.5/10

Cyril Langevine: Foul trouble, free throw shooting, and inconsistent play are all danger areas for Langevine.

Confidence rating: 7/10

Daron Russell: Russell is battle-tested in big games throughout the 2017-2018 regular season but the NCAA tournament is still a different monster.

Confidence rating: 7/10

Nicola Akele: Playing in the NCAA tournament is not like playing at Dayton (#45's best performance of this season). Akele's six minutes played against the Oregon Ducks in the 2017 NCAA tournament is still one of the biggest abominations that I've ever witnessed.

Confidence rating: 6/10

Ryan Preston: Preston has been left out of the rotation during conference play but he is still an athletic, capable contributor. He has never played in a NCAA tournament game.

Confidence rating: 6/10

Michael Layssard Jr: Layssard will unlikely see playing time in the NCAA tournament but if he does, his offensive game has promise but he still needs work on the defensive end.

Confidence rating: 4/10

Michael Tertsea: A developing interior defender

Confidence rating: N/A (There is little to no chance that he plays meaningful minutes in the NCAA tournament)

About a URI Attendee

Hi, I attend URI basketball games religiously. I am also a pessimist. These 2 facts do not always mix cohesively. Read my articles to see why.
