Remembering the Basics for the 2017-2018 Rhody MBB Team
Like many childhood books, simple words and pictures are good to remind people of lessons that they can learn every day. In this case, the 2017-2018 Rhody MBB team can never forget to remember the basic aspects of their success throughout the current season.
1. Dunks are good.
2. Layups are just as nice.
3. Shooting the basketball when you are wide open usually works well too.
4. Ball control is a major key. Keep the basketball in the good guys' hands as much as possible.
5. Keep the basketball out of the basket that your opponent is scoring on.
6. Do not let the players in opposite colors dribble past you.
7. Grab the basketball whenever it is out in the open.
8. Do not hold the basketball too long and pass it to your teammates.
9. Have fun with your teammates.
10. Have fun with your fans.
I can't say that I will be writing children's books in the future but it cannot be a bad idea to put easy sentences and pictures together to help new Rhode Island MBB fans understand what should be occurring on the basketball court.
